The project encompassed a comprehensive HVAC hygiene maintenance service, ensuring a cleaner and healthier indoor environment at the airport. Importantly, our staff hold the associated security passes required when working in high-profile secure buildings, ensuring seamless access and compliance with strict security protocols. Key tasks included:

INSET (left) post cleaning of diffuser grilles. (right) new flex ducting installed.
✅ AHU and Duct Cleaning: Complete cleaning of air handling units (AHUs) and ductwork to remove contaminants and improve airflow.
✅ Flexible Duct Replacement: Old flexible ducting was replaced in compliance with IICRC and National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) standards to maintain system integrity and performance.
✅ Diffuser Grilles and Cushion Box Cleaning: Thorough cleaning and treatment of diffusers and cushion boxes to enhance air quality and system efficiency. Treated with AerisGuard BioActive Surface Treatment, a bio-static coating offering up to 12 months of protection against microbial growth.
✅ Aeris Antimicrobial Coating: Fibreglass-lined ductwork was treated with Aeris antimicrobial coatings to seal the ducts, prevent fibre fraying, and inhibit mould, mildew, and bacterial growth. This coating also minimises insulation fallout and other common issues.

ⓘ As an Aeris Environmental Platinum partner, at Clean-Air, we opt for AerisGuard™ Duct Coating and Sealant. It offers exceptional properties for the performance and hygiene of ventilation systems. Preventing mould, and bacteria.
A significant feature of this product is its low VOC and low odour formulation, making it safe and practical to apply during regular working hours, even in sensitive environments. For example, it has been successfully used in fully functioning hospital wards without disrupting operations. This flexibility and safety make it an ideal solution for maintaining a healthy and efficient HVAC system.
This project highlights Clean-Air's commitment to delivering advanced, compliant, and effective HVAC hygiene solutions.
