At Clean-Air HQ, the corrosion protection production line is in full swing as we prepare multiple HVAC units destined for installation at a major coastal resort on the Gold Coast — a site positioned just metres from the ocean. In such highly corrosive environments, enhanced protection isn’t optional; it’s essential for long-term performance and reliability.

Each unit in this video is moving through our AerisGuard Corrosion Protection Plus process, a proven solution for extending equipment lifespan in coastal and harsh industrial conditions. AerisGuard provides up to 5 years of neutral corrosion protection, validated through 46,000+ hours of neutral salt spray testing (ASTM B117-11) and CSIRO-certified performance. The coating is resistant to oil, alkali and abrasion, and critically, has no impact on heat transfer or airflow.

To ensure complete coverage, coils are treated with the signature BLUE protective coating, while outer casings and structural components receive the CLEAR coating to maintain the unit’s appearance. Both coatings are high-performance, water-based polymeric formulations designed to protect metallic surfaces either pre- or post-installation.

The embedded video captures a real-time workflow inside our facility — units arriving for treatment, others being coated, reassembled, re-packaged, and prepared for dispatch. What begins with similar-looking units expands into a mix of large and small systems, showcasing our ability to process multiple units simultaneously.
